Em 19 de dezembro tivemos a nossa Reunião de Confraternização das Servas. Esta reunião finaliza as atividades do departamento de servas da nossa congregação no ano de 2008. Após o devocional sobre João 1:14-18, a encarnação de Deus para a nossa salvação, ocorreu a revelação do “amigo secreto”, em que cada pessoa dá um presente à pessoa que tirou como amigo secreto. Então, nos reunimos na sala de reunião e comemos algumas guloseimas. As servas da Igreja Luterana Cristo Rei se reúne uma vez por mês para estudar a Palavra de Deus, o Evangelho de Jesus, e para planejar algum trabalho, como a limpeza do templo e a ornamentação para os cultos. Que Deus abençoe o seu trabalho, que em Cristo nunca é em vão.
On December 19 we had our Women´s Fraternization Meeting. This meeting ends the activities of the women´s department of our congregation in the year 2008. After the devotional about John 1.14-18, the incarnation of God for our salvation, it took place the revelation of “the hidden friend”, when each person gives the person chosen to be his/her hidden friend a gift. Then we gathered in the meeting room and ate some tibtit. The women of Cristo Rei Lutheran Church meets once a month to study God´s Word, Gospel of Jesus, and to plan some work, such as the cleaning of the temple and ornamentation for the services. God bless its work, which in Christ is never in vain (I Cor 14:58).
